'Talk For Food' Radio Show Launches

talkforfoodIt’s been a busy week, but that’s not unusual for me. However, after expressing an interest about this last year, I am entering the world of spoken thought, which we call “talk.” I’m not starting a talk show, I have already already produced the first one, which I’m calling Talk for Food.

I’m part of a new internet-based radio network that is launching – www.webtalkradio.net. It is being launched by Matrix Media, of Chicago, IL, my home town.

A new show will stream weekly, and will rebroadcast (re-stream?) three more times. However, the podcast will be available at anytime. This is a great incubator for me. I can, and will be myself, in “Sound-D” — the sound dimension.

Talk for Food is NOT about food… any more than Thought for Food is. Like this blog, the show is about shifting perspective, from effect to cause, from “can’t” to can, from impossible to possible, and from separation — from our heart’s greatest desire — to unity. It’s about self-discovery. I want to talk, not only about conscious change, but the HOW of it.

I’ll have guests from a wide range of interests, known, and unknown. Dr. Mark Sircus and I will continue our conversations about magnesium, iodine, and other natural healing modalities. I’ll be talking to Perry A~, author of Living Clay: Nature’s Miracle Cure, and David Schneider, founder/developer of Quantum Age Stirwands, and others.

The show won’t be “live” for the first 6 months or so… so I won’t be taking call-ins or emails while on the air. However, you can send questions to me via email by writing to adam@talkforfood.com. If you’d like to be a guest, or a sponsor, by all means, talk to me too.

Tune in.

  1. Adam – I am compiling an expanded version of Talk Radio for Authors, my former book. It is tentatively entitled Radio Wants You – An intimate portrait of 500 radio shows that welcome guests – and geared to a more general audience. I have two publishers interested in my work, both publishers of academic, reference and scholarly books – whose major market is libraries.

If you wish to be included in my book, please complete the questionnaire and return it to me no later than January 30, 2008.

In conjunction with the book, I am going to host a radio show on Blog Talk Radio called The Radio Host Show, on which I will interview hosts about their shows. I will, of course, begin with the hosts in my book. Ideally, I’d like you to offer something to the audience – a gift, a service – that will bring listeners to your station’s website. So start thinking about what you can provide.

    Many thanks, Fran
